Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies

Requirements for Admission

 

  1. Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited* college or university with a minimum 2.5 cumulative G.P.A.  
  2. Be of proven Christian character and recognized as sound in the faith as indicated by three letters of recommendation.
  3. GRE or MAT are not required.

*Degrees from insitutions not accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education or regionally/nationally recognized colleges or universities are subject to review.

 

Procedures for Admission

  1. Review Arlington Bapitst College's Statement of Faith.  Students must be in agreement with the Statement of Faith in order to participate in the program.
  2. Complete the Online MABTS Application online.
  3. Submit an autobiography following the instructions found in the application.
  4. Submit three reference letters in accordance with the instructions found in the application.
  5. Submit official copies of transcripts from institution(s) from which the student received a degree or have attended. Official transcripts must be sent directly to ABC indicating the program for which you are applying.

International Students

  1. All International Students must make the following minimum scores on the TOEFL iBT Test:
    • Reading    22
    • Listening   22
    • Speaking  24
    • Writing     24
  2. Official Scores must be mailed to Arlington Baptist College.

Application Deadlines

Entrance into the Fall Semester - April 15

Entrance into the Spring Semester - October 15*

 

*Students enrolling into the Spring Semester will go on a waiting list until five students are approved.  This is necessary in order to justify holding a special Graduate Research Seminar in January before the semester begins.
